SHINING LIGHT

shine my light upon the earth
where blindness has to siege
holding on to the dark spaces
where ignorance and shame, do meet.

Wearing the coat of knowledge
let it flow across your arms,
Like a cloth:
The beauty of silk ..,
that honors it's presence to you.

May you choose you paths wisely
and let it be said....
that the space you occupies leaves
them residue..,
Of a once sweetest fragrance.

Let the people remember
the long journey you trotted upon,
and say that you were once in a slump!
Wearing your  ignorance.
Now you are the moment of time..,
sweeps the scent of Mercy,
in the breeze of a sweeter smell.

lifting your eyes to the light
Passing it on to, a one, to follow after
let it be said.., that His light shines in your stead.
